# Core Concepts

### Aura Points

Aura Points are the backbone of the Aura experience. They measure a user's credibility, engagement, knowledge, and influence within the ecosystem. Points are earned through:

* Completing educational modules
* Gaining support during challenges
* Participating in verified on-chain tasks (DEX trading, DeFi, NFTs)
* Receiving vouches from other users

Aura Points evolve over time and directly contribute to a user’s Aura leaderboard and unlockable opportunities.

### Aura Levels

Aura Rank reflects a user’s standing in the community and its is tiered based on your daily completion of the educational module. Everyday, users need to complete a daily lesson and get Aura and anytime a user completes this lesson, they get a streak.\
Aura levels also affect the user's vouching power

* Clout Chaser (0 days streak) - No vouch multiplier 
* Attention Seeker  (5 days streak) - 1.3x vouch multiplier 
* Dedicated (10 days streak) - 1.5x vouch multiplier 
* Grinder (15 days streak) - 2x vouch multiplier 
* **Aura Vader** (30 days streak) - 3x vouch multiplier 

### Steeze

Steeze is Aura’s cultural currency which is non-tradable outside the platform and non-transferable outside the platform. It represents support, style, and recognition. Users purchase Steeze with ETH and use it to gift others during challenges. Recipients can redeem Steeze for ETH, creating a peer-powered economy.

Steeze:

* Encourages community support
* Replaces the need for project-funded incentives
* Powers gifting loops that increase user interaction and credibility
* Purchased steeze cannot be redeemed for ETH but gifter steeze can be redeemed for ETH

### Aura Challenge

Aura Challenges are live challenges designed to gamify learning and engagement. Users can:

* Join themed competitions
* Invite or challenge others
* Earn Aura Points and Steeze support
* Rank on leaderboards

Future iterations will support livestreaming, creator-hosted battles so users can go Aura for Aura

### **Vouching**

Aura includes a trust-based vouching system where users can validate others’ credibility. Each vouch is a public endorsement that directly boosts the recipient’s Aura Points. Vouches carry more weight when given by high-ranking or long-term users based on their Aura level, helping surface truly credible contributors. This social validation forms the backbone of a user's verifiable reputation trail within Aura. User can vouch for each other once only with ETH
